Archon’s 12th Annual Presidents Day Golf Tournament will be here before you know it. We hope you will join us as a sponsor in 2009. The tournament will be on Monday, February 16, 2009 at the Four Seasons Club and Resort in Las Colinas. As you know, it’s a great opportunity to play golf on a beautiful course, meet business leaders from around the country, and help in the fight against child abuse, all in one swing!
We at Archon Group are grateful for the opportunity to host the annual tournament, which is a major funding source for Dallas CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocates. Archon has been named Outstanding Corporation for 2008 by the Greater Dallas Chapter – Association of Fundraising Professionals.
As you may recall, our last tournament raised over $1,000,000 for CASA. We are excited to report to you that with that money, CASA expanded its staff by 6 professionals and its volunteer advocate staff by 150. While those numbers are impressive, the real progress comes in the hundreds of new cases for which CASA Advocates are providing guidance. This significant infrastructure is now in place so that hundreds more kids will be helped in 2009! We hope you will play a part in its continued success.

In fact, we have rolled back the pricing on several of the sponsorships to be sensitive to the economy and its toll on your business.
